A program centered around best practice exchange, aimed to develop and improve VET teachers’ skills , to give insights on managing Erasmus+ students mobilities, visits of local hosting companies and ER+ Mobility workshops.
For whom? Language teachers – Teachers – Erasmus officers
The modules available
- 1 week program: 5 full days / 7 nights
- 2 week program: 10 full days / 16 nights
- 3 day intensive: 3 full days and 5 nights (except for the Cook Master course)
Minimum 4 participants, maximum 12
Included
- Accommodation in a high standard self-contained studio in the historic city centre (single or twin studios)
- Local transport
- The program is based on a 15 hour course
- Tutoring Follow-up / activities organization according to a detailed time table provided 1 week before
- Obligatory questionnaire online Staff Training to be filled in
- 1 cultural outing / week: guided visit of Perpignan + Collioure fisherman village on the seaside
- 1 apero-feedback at ALFMED (combined with an ER+ social event with our ERASMUS community and French VET teachers)
- Official (specific) certificate of participation
- 1 star/gastro lunch with the ALFMED team + wine tasting
The program
- A job shadowing immersion in French VET schools program – 10 h per week with VET teachers in various professional/technical sections, available in French (possibility of translation into English)
- Visits of several local partner companies, constant in hosting Erasmus+ students for professional internships
- 5h per week with Erasmus mobilities’ coordinators / available in English, French
- VET and ER+ Mobility centered workshops based on peer learning and capacity building methods: how is mobility managed for VET students/ best practices for promotion/selection/preparation/mobility management/follow-up and feedback upon return
- Validation of Learning Outcomes: through one of ER+ Mobility centered workshop (e.g., Matching with companies, goal: perfect company match with a student VET profile)
- Follow-up of Learning outcomes: The program offers an individual follow-up ZOOM session online as a bonus workshop (a month after the program ends) where participants would share the best practices/tools they’d tested and implemented in their teaching practices back home.
- Call to action follow-up: to achieve a mobility success story
Our bonuses:
- Over the program: drawing comparisons between different EU countries’ VET systems (CEDEFOP) /VET mobility best practice workshops based on tools/resources/activities issued from Teaching Trainings Sessions of different European projects
- By mid-program: Gastro lunch is organized with our team at a Michelin starred restaurant: to get a French Touch & Taste
- By the end of the program: A conversation class with a French aperitif is organized to summarize the experience in France and allow participants to have a feedback exchange with local VET teachers and Education players
