Method

This intensive immersion program consists of:

• Intensive module of 120 hours from January 9, 2023 to February 17, 2023 and from September 4 to 29, 2023, Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
• Extensive module of 80 hours from February 21, 2023 to May 11, 2023 and from October 3, 2023 to January 11, 2024, Tuesday and Thursday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Tuesday: specific French related to musical vocabulary
Thursday: General French

E-learning platform license to work on vocabulary, grammar, conjugation…

PROGRAM

• Group developed according to levels, 12 people maximum per level
• Upon your arrival you will receive a welcome folder with your calendar and useful information about the city and the region
• “E-learning” platform, to practice from your tablet, computer or smartphone at any time. This interface offers 16 learning languages, with personalized exercises according to the level and progress of the learners. Various activities and modules to practice expression as well as written and oral comprehension, in a fun way with unlimited access for 3 months
• Unlimited Wi-Fi access in ALFMED premises
• Free access to the ALFMED kitchen and garden
• ALFMED student card issued upon arrival

Terms

Language immersion

• Our French as a Foreign Language teachers are qualified and experienced. Through 100 hours of classes, they give all the keys to oral communication to our students
• Different activities are proposed in a playful and interactive way within our small groups in order to give everyone the opportunity to practice French and to discover the French culture

Cultural immersion

• Welcome appetizes*
• 4 cultural outings with the class in the city of Perpignan and the surrounding area* (Guided tour of Perpignan, Palace of the Kings of Majorca, Collioure, Rigaud Museum)

Language assessment

• Preparation and passing of the TCF (5 hours of preparation during the extensive module)
• Passing of a mock exam and the French Diploma TCF (French Knowledge Test) at ALFMED on January 24, 2024

Diploma issued by France Éducation International in accordance with the European Language Framework and recognized worldwide. Diploma valid for registration in a French University
Level certificate issued by ALFMED according to the CEFRL

PHYGITAL courses

For our programs offered in small groups (maximum 12 people) and because our objective is to be able to guarantee the flexibility and quality of our training, we have set up in our Media Lab equipment adapted to phygital courses*.
The mixed use of our Media Lab makes it possible to guarantee the continuity of training despite the current context: the learners and the trainer can be at ALFMED or remotely without disrupting the training and the educational context.

• the course is provided by our trainer at ALFMED, in our room which is equipped with a large screen with webcam and microphone
• of learners are PHYsically in class while others participate remotely (with their PC/webcam/microphone) in a digital way
• the trainer shares his screen and his digital whiteboard with the learners on the big screen

Benefits:

• complete flexibility whatever the circumstances (according to his choice the learner comes to ALFMED or follows the course remotely)
• the educational environment is recreated thanks to the large screen: facilitating interaction and practice from home/office or at ALFMED
