Since 2005, ALFMED has been THE specialist in language training for all.
We have chosen to teach only languages and to do it well, in an exceptional location between the SNCF train station and the Place de Catalogne, in a magnificent mansion surrounded by a walled garden.
What makes us special: ALFMED welcomes an international community all year round: French people learning foreign languages, young people and adults from all over the world learning French, Erasmus students from all over Europe, a polyglot team of trainers and staff. Our passion for languages can be heard as soon as you walk through the door of the academy!
These 10 to 14 week programmes are suitable for aupairs, long-term students and people living in the region who wish to have intensive, ongoing training to master the French language and become independent.
All levels are accepted: Beginner/False Beginner – Intermediate – Advanced
Thus, ALFMED collaborates on French programmes in partnership with the Conservatoire de Musique de Perpignan, the Bishopric of Perpignan, Rugby and football clubs…

Our missions are always focused on Languages and European Projects:
To promote language learning from the age of 6 through the programmes we offer in 9 languages: English – Spanish – Catalan – French as a foreign language – Italian – German – Chinese – Dutch – Russian
The “Intensive French as a Foreign Language” programmes we offer are designed for small groups of students.
The French programmes have existed since ALFMED was founded in 2005.
Our methods:
> We ask you to take an online test in order to evaluate your level and to place you in the right level group (maximum 12 people per group)
> We use action methods with various visual and audio aids to help you become fluent in the language.
> Unlimited access for 3 months to our e-learning platform to practice from your tablet, computer or smartphone at any time.
> Briefing on the platform with the teacher, weekly follow-up with personalised support and selection of personalised exercises recommended by the teacher on the points to be studied in greater depth by learners.
This interface offers various activities and modules to practice expression as well as written and oral comprehension in a fun way.
