Our French semesters take place all year
All levels
This program is suitable for the greatest number, all those who wish to have an intensive and followed training to master French.
Pre-registration is done through the form below. In order to finalise your registration at ALFMED and eventually apply for a student VISA, you must provide us with your front and back identity document. Once this is done, we will send you a link for the payment of the pre-registration fee of 150€ so that we can issue the pre-registration certificate and the ALFMED contract to be signed. The pre-registration fee of 150€ is not refunded if the VISA is refused.
PROGRAM
- Groups organised according to level, maximum 12 people per level
- On arrival, you will receive a welcome pack with your timetable and useful information about the city and the region.
- Keepschool e-learning platform, so you can practise from your computer or smartphone at any time. This interface offers a range of activities, with personalised exercises based on learners’ level and progress. Various activities and modules for practising written and oral expression and comprehension in a fun way, with unlimited access for 3 months.
- Unlimited WIFI access on ALFMED premises
- Free access to the ALFMED kitchen and garden
- ALFMED student card issued on arrival

Language immersion
Our French as a Foreign Language teachers are qualified and experienced. In 100 hours of group lessons, they give our students all the keys to communicating orally.
Various activities are offered in a fun and interactive way within our small groups to give everyone the opportunity to practise French and discover French culture
Cultural immersion
Welcome breakfast with presentation of the arrival pack
4 cultural outings with the class in and around Perpignan (Guided tour of Perpignan, Palace of the Kings of Majorca, Collioure, Rigaud Museum)
Language assessment
Preparation for and sitting of the TCF (4 hours preparation during the extensive module)
Mock exam and TCF TP French Diploma (Test de Connaissance du Français Tout Public) at ALFMED
Diploma awarded by France Éducation International in accordance with the European Framework of Languages and recognised worldwide
Diploma valid for enrolment in a French university
Level certificate issued by ALFMED in accordance with the CEFRL
FROM 15 JANUARY TO 31 MAY 2024
This intensive immersion programme consists of :
- Intensive 60-hour module from 15 January to 09 February 2024, Monday to Friday, 9am to 12pm
- Extensive 36-hour module from 27 February to 23 May 2024, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1pm to 3pm
- Exam preparation 28 and 30 May 2024 from 1pm to 3pm
- Examination on 31 May 2024
School holidays and public holidays (there will be no classes) :
- 2 weeks in February
- 2 weeks in spring
Total cost: €1,350 + €150. The TCF exam is included in the price.
Tuition fees must be paid on the first day. Any programme started is due in full
FROM 5 February TO 28 June 2024
This intensive immersion programme consists of :
- Intensive 60-hour module from 5 February to 15 March 2024, Monday to Friday, 9am to 12pm
- Extensive 36-hour module from 19 March to 06 June 2024, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1pm to 3pm
- Exam preparation 18 and 20 June 2024 from 1pm to 3pm
- Examination 28 June 2024
School holidays and public holidays (there will be no classes) :
- 2 weeks in February
- 2 weeks in spring
Total cost: €1,350 + €150. The TCF exam is included in the price.

FROM 3 June TO 28 september 2024
This intensive immersion programme consists of :
- Intensive 60-hour module from 3 june to 28 june 2024, Monday to Friday, 9am to 12pm
- Extensive 36-hour module from 2 Jully 2024 to 27 September 2024, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1pm to 3pm
- Exam preparation 25 and 27 September 2024 from 1pm to 3pm
- Exam on 28 September 2024
School holidays (there will be no classes) :
- 2 weeks All Saints’ holiday
- 2 weeks Christmas holidays
Total cost: €1,350 + €150. The TCF exam is included in the price.

FROM 2 September 2024 TO 24 january 2025
This intensive immersion programme consists of :
- Intensive 60-hour module from 2 September to 27 September 2024, Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm
- Extensive 36-hour module from 01 October 2024 to 12 December 2024, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 3 p.m.
- Exam preparation 14 and 16 January 2025 from 1 to 3 p.m.
- Exam on 24 January 2025
School holidays (there will be no classes) :
- 2 weeks All Saints’ holiday
- 2 weeks Christmas holidays
