Go for green in class

A program centered on integration of “sustainable development” topic in class. Presentation and use of tools based upon United Nation Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in order to develop green-inspired activities with students in class.

For whom?  Language teachers – EU citizenship teachers

The modules available
  • 1 week program: 5 full days / 7 nights
  • 2 week program: 10 full days / 16 nights
  • 3 day intensive: 3 full days and 5 nights

Minimum 4 participants, maximum 12

 

Included
  • Accommodation in a high standard self-contained studio in the historic city centre (twin or single studios)
  • Local transport
  • The program is based on a 15 hour course
  • Tutoring Follow-up / activities organization according to a detailed time table provided 1 week before
  • Obligatory questionnaire online Staff Training to be filled in

  • 1 cultural outing / week: guided visit of Perpignan + Collioure fisherman village on the seaside
  • 1 apero-feedback at ALFMED (combined with an ER+ social event with our ERASMUS community and French VET teachers)

  • 1 star/gastro lunch with the ALFMED team + wine tasting
The program
  • A workshop program – 15h per week with our Erasmus mobilities’ coordinators and director of studies (pedagogy) / available in French, English
  • Pedagogy in accordance with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): methodology & tools in English based upon two ERASMUS+ project platforms & best practices.
  • This program uses two Erasmus projects focused on sustainable development to provide teachers with activity modules for students: One using the gamification for practicing languages, the other one – for implementing activities to raising awareness of SDGs and by that developing students’ “green” skills
  • Validation of Learning Outcomes: through CHELLIS stories platform workshop (goal: positive “green”-orientated result with a badge delivery)
  • Certificate of attendance
  • Follow-up of Learning outcomes: The program offers an individual follow-up ZOOM session online as a bonus workshop (a month after the program ends) where participants would share the best practices/tools they’d tested and implemented in their teaching practices back home.
